| When it comes to a DJ's sound
equipment, you probably won't know the difference between high-quality
brands and budget brands unless you are
familiar with professional audio gear. However, your DJ should at least
have professional grade equipment. Home stereo equipment is not designed
to withstand 4 to
5 hours of high volume usage. The
speakers could blow or the system could fail in the middle of
your event! Ultimate
Mixes only uses professional, custom designed and built sound and
lighting equipment. Over the years, I have
purchased equipment that works well together
to make your event sound and look its best.
Listed below is the standard system that we
use for most events. This can be customized
to fit the needs of
your event. We also offer lightshows, karaoke, and other options
to make your event shine. Take a look at
our add-ons
section for more information about these options.

- First off, the main
attraction -- the CD players.
These are the state of the art Pioneer CMX-5000. These
CD players will provide your party with skip free playback,
no matter how hopping the Dance floor gets.
|
- Next the speakers. Our
Peavey SP4G and SP3G (Depending on event) speakers provide incredible
sound. Whether you are having a
wedding of 100 people or a corporate
function of 1200, the SP4G's and SP3G's won't stop until
you do!
|
- The Amplifier of choice for our
sound system is the Peavey QSC-2450.
This amp compliments the SP4G and SP3G speakers perfectly. It provides a
great amount of power is a small amount of
space. It is an analog amplifier so the sound is warm and
clear.

- A mixer is a very personal choice for any
DJ. I have chosen to stick with the Pioneer line and go with the DJM-600 Professional DJ Mixer. As I said, a mixer is very
personal choice, and I have found my perfect fit with this
Pioneer mixer.
|
- I will always have my wireless microphone available
at your event. This will allow you to perform your speeches,
toasts, or special requests from
anywhere in the room. It also allows me
the flexibility to move around and get the party going.
